I am Tim Armitage, the founder of Renovation Construction and Design, and I have been building, renovating, remodeling, and working to remediated Southern California homes and businesses for the last 35 years. When the Coronavirus changed our lives, impacting business, medical appointments, grocery store trips, and even coffee runs or going to the movies I knew we were facing some major changes in health and safety. I also knew that we already had access to some of the tools we needed to make our homes, businesses, schools, medical clinics, event spaces, and grocery stores safer. With the goal of making our homes and public spaces safer, I sat down and outlined a plan with my team at RCD, and Pure Air Design was born.
Along with my General Manager Art Huffer, RCD has designed a three-step process designed to Kill Covid, while also eliminating other threats, such as molds, spores, other viruses, and bacteria. By utilizing Medical Grade Appliances, along with EPA and OSHA approved practices and standards Pure Air Design uses UV-C Lighting solutions, HVAC Filtering solutions, Sterilization and Cleaning methods, and a range of other products and solutions to help protect what matters most. RCD combined our knowledge of Renovation and Remediation with the expertise of Pacific Premier Enterprises, in order to bring our amazing range of Covid Killer products to our clientele.
Our Partnership with Susan Forster, Owner & Founder of Pacific Premier Enterprises, has allowed Pure Air Design’s process to become even more seamless. Our goal is that our clients enjoy a stress-free experience as our experts work to provide the safety and security needed for life to get back to normal. Susan’s team, including Ethan Obermeyer, works to schedule complimentary assessment appointments for the Homes, Businesses, Schools, Event Spaces, Investment Properties, and Commercial Sites that can all benefit from Pure Air Design’s revolutionary process. They work with RCDs Contractors to ensure the best prices, optimizing scheduling, and all the other project details that come along with this type of renovation.

Tim’s work caught the eye of a Reality TV Producer and he became involved with the renovation or remodeling of over 300 homes for a TV Series, which he balanced while still running RCD and working for clients in the greater Southern California area. has been featured on TV for the renovation and construction of multiple investments both Residental and Commercial. Working closely with his client’s vision and design plan, Tim implements environmentally friendly techniques and construction processes with emphasis on an Eco-Friendly approach. Over the last 35 years, Tim and RCD have developed a reputation of excellence, superior service, integrity, and commitment to their clients.
More recently Tim founded Pure Air Design, to specializes in Medical Grade Appliances, Equipment, and Processes that provide Health and Safety needs to client’s homes, businesses, offices, workplaces, schools, medical buildings, restaurants, and commercial sites. During the 2020 Coroanavirus Pandemic, he pioneered the utilization of Medical Grade appliances in eliminating Covid-19 and other health and safety threats. Susan Forster has been actively involved in the related Residential, Investment, and Commercial Real Estate Marketing, Development, and Sales Industries.
For over 40 years Susan has owned and operated businesses in Oregon, Hawaii, California, and the Orange County, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel/Pebble Beach, and La Jolla areas. As the founder of PPE, Susan and her partner, Ethan Obermeyer are inspired to offer decades of experience working with professions that specialize in Designing, Environmental Remediation, Renovating, and Constructing sites that require code and safety upgrades along with marketable designs.
Art Huffer
Art has worked for Tim for 25 years in the construction industry and is the General Manager and Project Lead for RCD and Pure Air Design. A master mechanic, fabricator, handyman, and overall project manager, Art is well equipped to deal with any situations that arise on a job site. From day to day operation on RCD and Pure Air Design job sites, to logistical needs, and even troubleshooting plumbing and electrical issues. Working with Tim and RCD has allowed Art to follow his passions of working with his hands and exercising creative problem-solving across a range of environments and opportunities. His experience and dedication to nothing but the best for RCD’s clients have led to his reputation as an excellent problem solver who is at the core of the Pure Air Design team.
Over the years the RCD team has developed into a perfectly well-oiled machine, allowing Art to tackle any project and approach job site issues without involving outside vendors or sub-contractors. Art has been able to work with the RCD team to keep costs down, saving the client from any of the outlandish prices that can come from unforeseen challenges. He is committed to the idea that no project is too big, and every client should have a smile on their face. When Tim approached Art with the concept for Pure Air Design, a way to tackle the invisible monster of Covid-19, it seemed like an impossible task. But the RCD team was able to lay it all out and with Art help design the 3-Step Process Pure Air Design is known for. Making a difference in the lives of others, keeping clients happy and healthy, and helping small businesses keep running are goals embraced by Art and the RCD Team.

Art’s experience as a Master Mechanic has led to his love of working on engines of all kinds in his spare time. Including helping his four boys with their dirt bikes! He also enjoys dirt bike riding with his sons and enjoying the natural beauty of Southern California, from the desert to snow-capped mountains, with his wife of 25 Years.
